cattle are raised without antibiotics or added hormones. They are fed a
healthy, all vegetarian diet of lush grasses, raised on the farm and allowed to
grow at their own pace. All natural choices mean you can feel good about what
you are serving your family -- beef that doesn't contain nitrates, nitrites,
preservatives, MSG, cereal fillers, or any artificial ingredients to enhance
the flavor or texture. It is natural beef that is wholesome, and healthy. If you love beef, you may already know how
lean and tender Limousin is.
We are a very dedicated, family farm located near Escanaba, Michigan and
recently, our farm was certified organic - which now means our cattle not only enjoy being
pasture raised, but also get the best in GMO free nutritional feeds.
What does that mean?
1. Organic agriculture is based on holistic
production management systems which promote and enhance agro-ecosystem health,
including biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil biological activity. Organic products are identified under
specific and precise standards of production based on the use of ecologically
sound production practices, which are intrinsic to the identification and
labeling of organic products. All products
sold by GUINDON FARMS is labeled with a Lot number that follows the animal as
it leaves the farm, through the processor, to the retail shelf.
2. Use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's)
is not only PROHIBITED, we consider it dangerous to our cattle.
3. All inputs must be USDA ORGANIC approved, and
cannot contain chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, or GMO's
